Hymne National Indien : « BHARATA DESHIYA GITAM », adopté par l'Assemblée Constituante indienne le 24 janvier 1950 d'après le chant de Rabindranath Tagore, composé en 1911, intitulé « Janagana-mana ». On n'utilise que la première des cinq strophes que compte la chanson.

It echoes in the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas,

mingles in the music of Yamuna and Ganga and is chanted by
